Deen Spot is a free listing service for events at masjids and community venues. Using the app or this website means accepting what follows.

What the service is

We publish details of public events that masjids and community organisations have announced. We are not the organiser of any event listed, we do not run the venues, and we are not affiliated with them beyond receiving their announcements.

Listings may be wrong

Listings are drawn from posters and messages and read automatically. We moderate them and intervene where needed, but mistakes happen, and events get moved or cancelled after they are announced. Check with the masjid before travelling, especially for anything ticketed or time-critical.

Where an event is described as being after a prayer, the app says so rather than guessing a clock time. Deen Spot does not publish prayer timetables, and is not a substitute for your masjid’s own.

Using the app

Deen Spot is free and there is nothing to sign up for. Please do not attempt to disrupt the service, extract listings in bulk, or use it to send anyone unsolicited messages.

Posters you send us

If you add our number to a masjid’s WhatsApp group, or send us a poster directly, you confirm you are entitled to share it and you allow us to publish the event details it contains. Tell us at and we will take a listing down.

Availability

The service is provided as it is, without any guarantee that it will be available or uninterrupted. We may change or withdraw features.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from relying on a listing, from an event being changed or cancelled, or from the service being unavailable. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
