Anyone can help, whether you run the masjid’s WhatsApp or just follow it. It takes a couple of minutes, with no form and no account.
We’ll publish it here the moment it is live. Everything below is what to do with it then.

Option 1
I’m an admin of the masjid’s group
Add our number to the group, the same way you’d add anyone.
- Save the number in your phone as Deen Spot.
- Open the group, tap the group name at the top, then Add members.
- Choose Deen Spot. That’s it — keep posting as normal.
Admin of a WhatsApp Community? Add Deen Spot to the Community itself, so it sees the Announcements group.

Option 2
I’m in the group, but not an admin
Send our number to the group admin and ask them to add it. The button below writes the message for you — just pick the admin in WhatsApp.
Send to the admin on WhatsAppDon’t know who the admin is? Open the group, tap its name, and scroll to the member list — admins are marked Group admin.

Option 3
It’s a WhatsApp Channel or Community
Send the invite link to our WhatsApp number above and we’ll join it ourselves. Anyone who can see the link can do this.
- Finding a Channel link
- Open the channel, tap its name at the top, then Share or Copy link.
- Finding a Community link
- Open the Community, tap its name, then Invite members and Copy link. If you can’t see that option, ask an admin for the link.
- Finding a group link
- Open the group, tap its name, then Invite via link and Copy link.
Then send it to our WhatsApp number. Adding the masjid’s name and area helps us match it quickly.

Every masjid added makes Deen Spot more useful for everyone nearby. Share this page with the imam, the committee, or whoever posts the event posters.

- Will Deen Spot post in our group?
- No. It never sends messages. It only reads what is posted.
- What gets published?
- Only public event announcements, such as posters for lectures, classes and meals. Nothing else in the group is published.
- Our group name doesn’t mention the masjid.
- Email us the masjid’s name and postcode so we can match it quickly:
- Can we stop it later?
- Yes. Remove Deen Spot from the group as you would remove anyone else, and new events stop appearing.
