What’s on at your masjid.

Lectures, halaqahs, community meals, classes and everything else that usually only reaches whoever happened to see the poster on the door.

Built around how masjids actually work

Nobody has to learn a new system or keep a calendar up to date. The events are already being announced — they just weren’t reaching anyone outside the group chat.

Everything nearby, in one list

Set your area and see what’s on this week across every masjid around you, on a list or a map.

Follow the ones you go to

Their events sit at the top, however far away they are. Following a masjid says distance isn’t what decides.

Prayer times as published

Each masjid’s own timetable, not a calculation. When a poster says “after Asr”, so does the app.

A reminder before it starts

Save an event and get a nudge in good time. Reminders are scheduled on your phone, not sent from a server.

Where the listings come from

Not scraped, and not typed in by volunteers. Masjids already post their events to a WhatsApp group; Deen Spot reads those posters, and we moderate what gets listed.

1

A masjid posts to its group

The same poster it was sending anyway. Nobody fills in a form.

2

The poster is read

The date, time, speaker and venue are pulled off it automatically, including “every Thursday after Maghrib”.

3

We moderate it

Listings are watched over by real people, and we step in where something needs correcting or taking down.

Getting your masjid listed

Add our number to the WhatsApp group your masjid already posts to. From then on, what goes out to the group appears in Deen Spot — there is no account to create and nothing to maintain.
